Games

For example, the standings of 30 seconds, 4 in a row, Backgammon, Black Lady, Bowling, Carcassonne, Catan, Checkers, Chess, CrazyEights, Darts, Domino, Game of the Goose, Horse trading, Jass, Keezen, Ludo, Monopoly, Phase 10, Qwixx, Risk, Rummikub, Scrabble, Shuffleboard, Skip-Bo, Stratego, Toepen, Triominos, Uno, Worms and Yahtzee can be kept. But it is possible to keep track of results of each game type because you can also create new types yourself.

There are plenty of sites where you can play online games. That is not the intention here. Nothing is more fun than playing a game with family and friends. We look at screens enough already. Here you can only keep the scores of games played so that you don't have to do that on paper, and you don't have to do the math. So far tracked through this site 2472 games with 46704 scores.

Your games are then available on the phone, tablet or computer you are currently working on and you can view the analyzes of you and your fellow gamers. If you want to view your games on other devices, you need to set your email address. You will then receive an email with which you can confirm this, a password is not required. You can also view your games on another device with the same email address.

If you have a Google (including Gmail) or Microsoft (including Outlook, Hotmail and .Live) account, you can easily choose it to sign up with.

To be clear: Game results never has access to your mailbox, or your mail.

Cost

It costs nothing to use the application. There may be small advertisements on several pages to cover the costs. If someone would like to make a donation to remain ad-free, that would of course be very nice. In that case, send me a message via the button at the bottom of this page.

Privacy

Speluitslagen.nl knows nothing about the users except an email address and a player name. This data, or the scores obtained, will not be passed on to third parties.

We use Google Adsense to display advertisements. That service complies with IAB TCF. CMP ID: 300 and requesting permission. You can always Adjust that choice.

Mobile app

Speluitslagen.nl is a web application and works fine on a computer. But the app is also optimized to work on a tablet or mobile phone. If you set it up on your home page (via the menu in your web browser), there is practically no distinction to be made with a native app, except that an internet connection is required to use the app. As a result, the app works on every mobile phone and you don't have to install anything. An internet connection via 3/4/5G or Wifi is of course necessary. It is possible to put the application in 'dark view' so that white letters are used on a dark background.
The app also ensures that your phone does not automatically go to standby while you are in a game.

Cookies

Like every site, something must be said about the use of cookies here. They are only used on this site for three things:
- Authentication, otherwise you would have to log in every time
- Personal settings such as color rendering and keyboard visibility.
- For advertisements, Google uses cookies to show personalized advertisements.

Analysis

Players can view analysis of the games they have played. With graphs of your scores. Through each game you can also view the results of your fellow players and compare them with your own score.
If you have played several games of the same type, the results will be shown together in a graph in your personal statistics.

Teams

If you play a game with 4 or more people, you can also divide the players into teams. A choice will automatically appear in the settings screen and you 4players have set. The scores of the people in a team are added together and it is therefore determined per team who has won.

Share

Your game data is initially only viewable and editable by its creator. Games can be shared with fellow players via their email address, they will then see the game in their own games list. Games and statistics can also be shared via social media such as Whatsapp and Facebook with others. Only the creator of a game can share it.

Enter scores

By default, only the creator of a game can add new rounds and enter scores for them. You can do this via the keypad at the bottom of the screen. The keyboard can be folded away via the ▽ button at the bottom of the white bar. Fellow players can only watch a game. In the settings of the game, that maker can indicate that fellow players can also enter scores.

Number of games per round

By default you can decide after how many games you start a new round. But with some (types of) games it is customary to use a fixed number of games per round. You can specify that number in the settings screen of the game. With a fixed number, a new round starts automatically if a game is added after the number.

Who gets to start

Which player in a game starts each series or game depends on the type of game. In some games, the players start alternately. In others, the same player always starts. In others, the player who won the previous game.
The site will try as best as possible to keep track of who gets to start based on the game type and select that player by default when entering the scores. If you have a different rule yourself, for example because the starting player changes every 2 series with you, you can always choose another player. In any case, you can immediately see who should start according to the computer. With the next game, the new order is always automatically followed.

Edit rights for fellow players

The creator of a game can determine (via the settings screen) whether or not service fellow players are allowed to add or edit scoring. In many cases, the maker fills in the scores and it is sufficient that fellow players can view the scores and their statistics. But in other cases it is useful that fellow players can also add the scores themselves.

Second screen

Fellow players can watch the scores of the game live on their own phone, tablet or computer. But by opening the game or the statistics on a computer or tablet, while entering the scores on your phone, all participants of a game can also keep an eye on the standings.

Delete round

If you accidentally enter a round or series too many, you can easily remove it by deleting all scores in that round. If you save the last empty score, the round is also removed.

Change date of a round

By default, a new round is given the date on which you create it. In your games list, the games are also sorted by the date the last round was played.
Sometimes it is necessary to change the date of a game, if you have not played the game on the day you entered it. You can do this easily by right-clicking on the date (on a mobile by holding down the date for a longer period of time). A date selection will then appear in which you can choose a different date. You should also adjust any subsequent rounds.
The date can of course only be changed by players who also have permission to enter scores.
