Crazy eights is a card game played by at least 2 players. The object of the game of bullying is to be the first to get rid of all your cards. Each player is dealt 7 cards to start with, the rest of the cards then become the 'pot'. The pot is then placed in a pile close to the table.

Rules for Crazy Eigths
The game
The top card is turned over to reveal it. It is played clockwise. The player to move must place a card on top of the face up card. It must be the same as the suit (Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, Spades) or the same value as the card on top of the pile. If the player cannot put a card on it, he must take a card from the pot. If he takes a card from the pot and it can be placed, he may put it down immediately.
End of the game
When a player has only 1 card left he must knock on the table or say 'Last card'. If he forgets this and lays down his last card, he must take an extra card from the pot. It is not allowed to end with a plague card. The player who gets rid of his cards first is the winner. The other players count the values of the cards in their hand.
Bully Cards
The game is played with a number of plague cards. The players often choose what the plague cards are and what they contain. Most commonly used:
- Joker - The next player must take 5 cards, unless they also have a joker, or a 2, in which case he can flip it and the next player must also take those points
- 2 - The next player must draw 2 cards, unless he/she throws a joker or a 2.
- Jack - The player who tosses the jack may indicate which suit to continue playing
- 7 sticks - After a 7, the same player may place another adjacent card
- 8 wait - The next player is skipped and the player after that continues to play
- King Turn - The game turns and continues counterclockwise until someone else throws another king
A 2, 7, 8 and King must match the previous card on the table. The Jack and Joker may be played after any other card.
