Rules 30 seconds
Game parts
- A game board
- 240 cards (with 2400 concepts)
- A die
- An hourglass
- Pawns
Teams
The players are divided into teams. Often teams of 2 people, but it can also be larger teams.
Start of the game
Each team rolls the dice. The team that rolls the highest gets to start. Then the teams take turns clockwise.
The turn
On a team's turn, they roll the die and then draw a card. As soon as the hourglass is turned over, one of the players reads the card and describes the concepts with the color the pawn is on. It doesn't matter in what order that happens. The person who gives the descriptions is always a different member of the team. The rest of the team tries to guess the terms before the hourglass is ready.
The number of guesses minus the number of dots rolled with the die may move the pawn forward. If the rolled number is higher than or equal to the guessed number, the pawn stands.
Descriptions
Of course you can't say everything when describing:
- You are not allowed to use names or words that are on the cards
- You may not point to a word on a card
- You are not allowed to refer to letters
- You are also not allowed to describe a word it sounds like or rhymes with
- You are also not allowed to use derived names
If a rule is broken, any guessed answer does not count.
End of the game
The team that reaches the finish line first with the pawn wins.
